Outreach
Educational Campaigns
In order to bring about behavioral shifts in local communities involved in excessive logging of mangroves, I have organized several educational campaigns on the sustainable use of mangrove resources. I have partnered with different community leaders and non-governmental organizations for these efforts and have provided education in three different mangrove communities in Cameroon
Focus Group Discussions
I have equally held focused group discussions with local leaders and other stakeholders in these communities to understand their needs and to understand how we can all work collaboratively to protect, manage and restore degraded mangrove areas.
I am very interested in similar outreach efforts because I believe that at the rate of global biodiversity loss, we need everyone's input to stall or reverse current trends of biodiversity loss.
So, please, let me know of opportunities where I can serve in similar efforts as they arise.
